Schema matching is the task of finding related entities in various input schemas. This task is crucial in enterprise integration scenarios, as companies have different systems and the schemas of these systems are heterogeneous. In order to be able to initiate and maintain communication among enterprise systems the resolution of the heterogeneity is inevitable. We have analyzed several schema matching solutions and concluded that they performance may seriously vary in different integration scenarios. Our main focus fell on the reduction of this variation. Consequently, we have developed several techniques to able to cope with the task. In this paper we present our solution alternatives in the subfield of schema matcher calibration.
