Abstract

Usability evaluation increasingly used in the software development, especially for evaluation of user interaction designs. Software's usability comprises the aspects effectiveness, efficiency and satisfaction. The user emotional is the best reflection of user's satisfaction degree. This paper presents the definition of a user satisfaction metric method based on the psychology emotion theories. A Hidden Makov model (HMM) was used to describe the experience-emotion mapping relationship. An artificial neural network was used to affirm the parameter of the emotional-satisfaction mapping. Moreover, we get an effective reflection either.
