Abstract

We describe the design of a flowchart layout tool for C-programs, which may contain break, continue, and return statements We exploit the nesting relationship among the blocks to determine the positions of blocks and subblocks, which in turn determine the placement of connecting lines between the blocks A special labeling technique is used to avoid the crossing of lines.
