Abstract

In this paper we present UNICORE middleware as uniform framework for life sciences applications. The UNICORE provides environment for integration of the different tasks as simulations, database access or data acquition. We have developed number of application specific interfaces which can substitute existing visualization packages. The significant advantage of this solution is its modularity which makes development of new interfaces fast and easy. The UNICORE middleware allows user use these components in the grid environment by providing access to the distributed geographically resources.
