Abstract

This paper describes the author's experience teaching a new upper level Computer Science course in software development tools at Transylvania University. This course was developed to address curricular needs that the Computer Science faculty recognized as not adequately covered by the standard set of course offerings at Transylvania, including the needs for more team project work, experience with state-of-the-art software development environments, and accountability to real world clients. The Apple iPad was the target platform for all projects in this course.
