In this paper, a design scheme of variable structure model reference control using only input and output measurements is presented for linear time-invariant systems with uncertain additive and multiplicative dynamics, and disturbances existing in the input and output channels. By introducing auxiliary signals and normalized signals with memory and an appropriate choice of control parameters, the controller guarantees the global stability of the closed-loop system, and the tracking error reach zero in finite time.
