Abstract

This paper presents an overview of the information services consisting of information databases and directories which are sponsored by the CEC and which are available to the RTD community under the various CEC sponsored programmes. These information services serve a useful purpose to make complex and bulky information available in a form which users can access easily. All of these information services are hosted on computers spread across Europe and made accessible through different data transmission methods and computer networking technologies. The information services covered in this paper are those which specifically aid the RTD community.
