Network throughput and energy efficiency are paramount for network performance in an energy-constrained wireless network. However, it is difficult to achieve optimal objectives simultaneously. Therefore, it is necessary to find a rate control solution based on tradeoff between network throughput and energy efficiency. In this paper, we propose a cooperative differential game model and find an optimal rate control of each player to get the total minimal cost with tradeoff between network throughput and energy efficiency of the networks.
