Abstract

Research on electromagnetic environment simulation is useful in both civil and military wireless communication systems. This paper provides some key issues in EME simulation. The computation time and capacity of the computer memory is the key problem to solve in EME simulation. Radio wave propagation modeling in a complex nature environment using PE method is given. Basic properties of the troposphere are mentioned. The simulation methods using a PE model are compared and ideas to improve the equation solving and calculation are given. Software to simulate EME is described in this paper and the ideas are given to develop a proper and advanced EME software. Visualization is important in simulation, the problems and ideas in visualization are given in this paper.
