Storage systems play a key role in any modern data center influencing the overall performance and availability of applications and services, especially, if they deal with large volumes of data. Clients of storage services may have expectations concerning the QoS, which may be formally expressed in a contract called SLA. SLA monitoring is essential part of the automated SLA management process. In this paper we present a method of applying ontologies for SLA monitoring of storage related services.
