Abstract

In this paper, we propose a new computational model of personality-based and event-driven mixed emotions called the PAEM (Personality Associated Emotion Model). The model delineates mixed emotions based on personality traits and updates dynamic emotional states by calculating the relative intensity of mixed emotions triggered by given events. The PAEM produces associated emotions by taking into account the personality traits of subjects, which have a significant influence on decision making processes.
