Abstract

The Distributed OS Formalization Generating System (DOSFGS) described in this paper consists of a grammar subsystem DOSGS and a semantics subsystem DOSSS. DOSGS is a form of Context Free Grammar. DOSSS is a semantics system with an operating set. DOSGS uses the semantics subsystem DOSSS to automatically generate a simulation version of a distributed OS in three steps: abstraction, description, and refinement. DOSSS is the central component of DOSFGS. This paper discusses the data structures, operating set and functions, and working principles defining DOSSS.
