Abstract

This report briefly describes a Computer Science contest for high school students which was recently organized by the Department of Computer Science at the University of Pisa. The goal of the contest was to stimulate the interest of high school students for Computer Science, and to give them a chance of demonstrating and developing their problem solving abilities. A distinguishing aspect of the contest was that no background in Computer Science was required to participate.
