Abstract

This paper describes SFM, a software package designed to manage student programming assignments on the PRIMOS operating system. In addition to providing a mechanism for the paperless submission of programming assignments, SFM affords the users increased file security, exact enforcement of due dates, thorough testing of programs, better machine utilization, reduced student frustration, and detailed reports.
