Scott Berkun, design and usability training manager for Microsoft Corporation, may be familiar to many as the interlocutor for the first CHI conference Interactionary. At CHI2002 he is the organizer of two workshops, one on Web navigation, the other on teaching interaction design. I chatted with him about user interface design training at Microsoft and popularizing design with activities at the CHI conferences. As both a practitioner and an educator (with Las Vegas potential!)
