Disseminating the course information is one of the main assignments of an academic teacher. This paper proposes a system for supporting the teacher in creating, updating, organizing and retrieving files that belong to his/her own Web site. The system is capable of organizing the attributes of the files contained in an educational Web server in an appropriate database and updating link addresses of Web pages when some data files are created. The system is based on the XML language and related technologies, such as DOM and XSL.
