Abstract

E-Commerce will most probably reshape the South African business world, as is happening in the rest of the world. Government organizations, large corporations, medium and small business, are all now actively trying to establish a presence of some kind on the World Wide Web. This paper describes research into establishing the use of human-computer interaction principles in the development of e-commerce applications in the South African context. It also describes the initial outcomes of an ongoing study.
