Abstract

The convergence properties of the mismatch in identification in a closed-loop control system are used to formulate additional simplified adaptability conditions for improving the well-known conditions for control systems with an identifier and reference model. These conditions admit considerable variations for the estimates of the control effectiveness matrix in the neighborhood of their exact values, thereby corroborating the possibility of using the adaptation scheme for a wide class of objects. An illustrative example is given.
