This part of the tutorial concerns methods for constructing multivariate resultants. Special methods for three bidegree and equal degree polynomial equations are included because of their importance for surface problems in computer graphics and computer-aided geometric design. We also describe u-resultants, a powerful utilization of standard resultants.
