This article describes the experiences of five universities in using the Personal Software Process (PSP) to teach software engineering concepts in a variety of contexts. It also contains suggestions and techniques for introducing the PSP into a university curriculum. The article's objective is to encourage and guide other academics that might consider introducing the PSP in their own software engineering courses. Additionally, our experiences should be relevant to corporations considering the PSP in corporate educational programs.
