In this paper, numerical solution of linear differential-algebraic equations is considered by pseudospectral method. Also, an index reduction technique for them is suggested.For Hessenberg index-2 system, the index reduction technique is defined and its use is demonstrated. We give a condition under which the general linear form problem can be easily transformed to the index reduced form by a simple formulation. Furthermore, with providing some examples, the aforementioned cases are dealt with numerically.
