Abstract

In this paper, we use our experience as Intelligent Assistant System designers to clarify some notions about context and to study the question of context sharing. In the framework of the control of a subway line, the context plays a crucial role especially for incident solving. The analysis of the operators' behavior during incident solving shows that context takes three different forms, namely external, contextual knowledge and proceduralized context. Moreover, the paper discusses the dynamics of the exchanges between these three kinds of context.
