The consensus model presented in this paper refers to Pawlak's conflict model and serves to determining consensus as the solution of a conflict situation. In this paper we consider two problems. The first of them refers to the modification of the weights of profile's elements in purpose to determine a "good" consensus. The second problem concerns the dependencies of attributes representing the content of conflicts, which cause that one may not treat the attributes independently in consensus determining. We show that using some kind of distance functions may enable to determine mine consensus in the same way when the attributes are independent from each other.
