This paper highlights ideas and experiences of the ADVISOR approach to increase process awareness among employees. ADVanced Instruction Technologies for Services ORganisations aim to look at learning and training from a process point of view. Whereas training is often somewhat detached from daily business here knowledge and skill acquisition within the business processes is emphasised. A front-end information system was built with a business process management software toolkit by adapting the toolkit to the needs of e-learning and knowledge management. Employees are presented customised views on process chains which are enriched with target specific information and learning objects. It is argued that ADVISOR can substantially support the introduction of new software and other change projects in an organisation.
