Abstract

Environments and languages for Web-based simulation, particularly Java-based approaches, are reviewed. Some Web-based applications are mentioned. A summary of the current state forms the basis for discussing the future of simulation modeling on the Web. The future directions of Web-based simulation range from the traditional to the revolutionary, with the revolution coming from new blood into the simulation profession.
