Abstract

In this paper we explore the role of users' activity analysis when designing and evaluating interactive systems for school education. What kinds of activity analysis are available? How do they support design and evaluation? We do not pretend to answer all these questions but we review the answers we gave in our own research in Interactive Learning Environments around the Lingot project. This project aims to design new instrument to support teachers when they regulate learning in their classroom. This paper is based on studies of teacher working with a prototype.
