Abstract

A data warehouse is a repository for information that is collected, cleaned, and made available for analysis. A well run data warehouse makes many analyses easy to run, because many complex details have been taken care of already. In this chapter, we survey issues related to building, maintaining, and querying a data warehouse, and recent research that has been performed to address these issues.
