Abstract

In this paper, the proto-language P-L is introduced as a means of facilitating the construction of a simulation program from the system being analyzed. Features of P-L are presented; simplified versions of a court system and a hospital emergency room situation are expressed in the formalism of P-L. A data structure and organization for the resulting simulation programs are presented, as is the result of the author's application of P-L to the court simulation example.
