Abstract

We have shown that by combing fuzzy logic and hyper knowledge we will get a newparadigm for the development and use of active DSS, which is more effective andproductive way to build decision support systems.We demonstrate that this willhelp us to gain a better understanding of decision making, problem solving andplanning processes in environments, which have not been accessible for systematicstudies with traditional research instruments.We also show that active DSS toolscan be used as research instruments.
