The paper is devoted to the problem of reducingcomponent machines of the synchronous FSMcomposition. The problem is considered as the problem ofFSM equation solving. The complexity of an FSMequation significantly depends on the level of ouroptimization. We show that sometimes it is more effectiveto solve not a single equation but a system of equations.
