This paper deals with an application of multiagent self-organizationtechniques to intelligent sensor networks. Wesketch a multiagent system's architecture according to theAEIO method for the EnvSys project. This multiagent systemconsists of self-organizing hybrid agents. We presentinteresting results in the last part showing the benefits ofthis approach compared to traditional ad-hoc protocol performances.
