Existing negotiation agents are primitive in terms of what they canlearn and how responsive they are towards the changing negotiationcontexts. These weakness can be alleviated if an expressiverepresentation language is used to represent negotiation contextsand a sound inference mechanism is applied to reason about thepreferential changes arising in these negotiation contexts. Thispaper illustrates a novel adpative negotiation agent model, whichis underpinned by the well-known AGM belief revision logic. Ourpreliminary experiments show that the performance of thebelief-based adaptive negotiation agents is promising.
