In this paper we present an approach for QoS managementthat can be applied to a general class of real-time distributedcomputation systems. In the proposed approach aswitching hybrid system model is used to represent the system.In this setting, the QoS specifications are transformedinto set-point specifications and a limited-horizon onlinesupervisory controller is used to move the system to the optimaloperation point.
