A multistep version of Kaczmarz's projection algorithm is presented for training radial basis function network used for identification of nonlinear dynamic systems. A new recursive form of the algorithm is derived. Computer simulation shows that the new algorithm offers advantages over RLS algorithm both in convergence rate and in computation time required.
