This paper proposes a mobile negotiation agentembedded hybrid online purchasing system(MineAgeHops in short) with three emphases: agent'smobility, evolvable negotiation model, and hybridarchitecture. As in the physical world, a buyer agent cantravel to a virtual shop resided in a remote host forobtaining information about a product and directlynegotiating on the product with a seller in the virtual shop.Human negotiation is a complex process. The evolvablenegotiation model makes effort to reflect differentnegotiation levels with increasing knowledge andexperience as time goes. A hybrid of centralized anddecentralized architecture can overcome networkbottleneck problem as well as improve purchasingefficiency by enabling agents' mobility and flexibility.
