Abstract

In this paper, we introduce our geographicinformation system using a mobile phone that isequipped with a camera and a GPS and its exhibitions.We aim to provide a social information spaces forlocal communities or towns. Users can annotate notonly text notes but also photos to physical spaces bysending emails with photos and location informationby GPS attached from mobile phones. Any users usingsuch mobile phones can annotate information tophysical spaces when and where they want to do it andact as content provider. We exhibited our system as aphotography exhibition in Tokyo and Sendai.
