Abstract

In this paper, we propose a method for selecting appropriatedata based on personal information of mobile usersto improve the success rate for requesting data in a ubiquitouscomputing environment. With this method, the outputdata is selected based on users' requirements. Then, a ubiquitousterminal that actually outputs the selected data is selectedbased on the facility and activity level of all terminalsand the category of the selected data. As a result, ourmethod can output effective data for mobile users in a ubiquitouscomputing environment where there are many typesof data and ubiquitous terminals. Furthermore, we show theeffectiveness of our method by a simulation experiment.
