Abstract

Observing that some applications require devicelocation information only for calculating relativedistances to each other, we propose a proximitymeasurement algorithm based on wireless networksignal strength that requires no calibration and operatesin a peer-to-peer way with low overhead. In this paper,we describe this method and report its precision andrecall.
