Abstract

In this paper, we provide an overview of the technical functionality of WebSphereTM Application Servers and several related products in the WebSphere product family. The paper specifically addresses the product features that are essential to today's e-businesses. We discuss infrastructure services, business-to-consumer and business-to-business scenarios and detail the existing and future support that the WebSphere product family offers in these areas. We also include an extensive list of references for readers who wish to obtain more detailed information on specific aspects of the WebSphere product family that are beyond the scope of this paper.
