Abstract

In the context of distance learning and teaching, it is important to have feedback on the learnersý usage of the learning system. The feedback is given by log files in the majority of systems. In our research activities around the re-engineering of e-learning systems driven by models, we think that it is interesting to capitalise knowledge from computer tracks by defining a structured set of Design Patterns. In this paper, we will show that such an approach is interesting. We will focus on analysing usage of learning systems more particularly analysing learnerýs behavior during learning sessions to capture and define our Design Patterns.
