The sum capacity of a multiuser system with interfering multiple input multiple output (MIMO) links is investigated. In an MIMO interfering system, the capacity of each link is a function of covariance matrices of transmit vectors. Therefore, the capacities of the links are mutually dependent and cannot be calculated individually. We consider the sum capacity of the L-user system as the objective function and investigate its convexity with respect to the transmit covariance matrices.
