This paper discusses our new problem-based, two-course sequence in System Administration. This sequence is designed to address two needs of Computer Science departments: that many CS students are entering system administration positions with no training, and that CS departments are interested in offering Information Technology education. The sequence is useful to our current undergraduate CS students and is a significant step in establishing a technology-based IT degree.
