Abstract

Modeling method for three-dimensional objects in computer graphics usually starts from geometry level. For using in multimedia or database system, such methods can display on screen but lack essential properties of the models such as shape equivalence, shape invariant, topological equivalence and features. We propose a valid shape modeling using topology features for checking validity of the model called cellular structured space, starting from inductively compose a finite structure via attaching map. By this method, invariant and some topological properties are preserved and used for finding similarity of the 3D objects in multimedia database.
