Reconciling of conflict data is needed when there exists a data conflict situation in a distributed system, particularly in a Web-based system. A conflict situation takes place when some system sites generate and store different versions of data, which refer to the same subject. In purpose to solve this problem one final version for the data should be determined. This final data version is called a consensus of given versions. In this paper we propose to solve conflict situations by determining consensus functions. We present a consensus system, the postulates for consensus choice functions, their analysis and an algorithm for consensus determining.
