Abstract

Small signal models of electric converter systems are investigated in the paper and their dynamical properties and interconnections are studied. A system theoretical approach is used to represent the models in a normal form, which makes analysis of such systems and their connections straightforward. Systematic methods to study both internal and input-output stability are presented, and implications to controller design principles are outlined.
