Abstract

The problem of searching and detecting spatial LSB (Least Significant Bits) steganographic images on the Internet is discussed. A full scheme on images searching and detecting is investigated, and a novel steganalysis algorithm, LSM algorithm, is proposed. In the scheme, doubtful images will be detected with RS, SPA and LSM method and associated decision will be given depending on these three methods. By adopting heuristic method, once the detector captures an image, same images in the same searching spaces can be found quickly. The simulation results show that the scheme is effective for spatial LSB steganographic images searching and detection on the Internet.
