Abstract

This paper is devoted to the practical real-time application of a new fuzzy gain scheduling control scheme to a multi-pool open irrigation canal prototype. This control scheme successfully regulates the downstream level of three pools of the prototype canal in response to the inflow rate variations. The scheme combines functional fuzzy logic with gain scheduling.
