Abstract

Mobile technology is increasingly drawing the attention of the healthcare sector. This paper analyses ways in which the implementation and use of new mobile technologies create new values and discusses how value development processes change as the mobile solution matures. Two issues are in focus: first, how the user involvement in developing mobile innovations changes as the new technology is established in the organisation; and second, how user involvement and the maturity of the mobile offering influence the co-creation of value between the technology supplier, the healthcare organisation and other actors.
