Abstract

The exchange of best practice is an essential ingredient for collaborative voluntary action in non-governmental organizations (NGOs). While current approaches for learning social practice focus on adopting and describing best practice individually, they fail to address collaborative detection and description of best practice in organizations. We propose a pattern-based approach, which facilitates collaborative creation, improvement, and sharing of social best practice via Web 2.0 concepts.
