Abstract

The problem of linear-quadratic control in the class of lineardynamic output controllers was solved, and the necessary andsufficient conditions for existence of the optimal controllers wereformulated in terms of the linear matrix inequalities. Theparameters of such controllers were proved to depend on the plantinitial conditions, and the optimal controllers were shown to beunrealizable under certain initial conditions. The results ofnumerical comparison of the linear-quadratic andγ-optimal controllers were presented.
